International Transit Time Table
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING TRANSIT ESTIMATE: Please see below for the average time of international transit based on our export data for economy parcels:
General time frames are calculated as an average based on the shortest and longest transit durations from Japan dispatch to the respective international destination (+/- approx. 2 weeks for customs processing) depending on cargo congestion to the destination with a possibilities of routing delays during certain times of the year :
Japan to Asian areas - approx. 1-1.5 months transit
Japan to US/EU/AU areas - approx. 1-2 months transit
Japan to Central America/South America - 1-3 months transit
Economy Airmail / economy options are used to most destination countries. The shipping type is indicated when checking out your selected product in cart. Economy/General Shipping Rate does not include tracking.
In some cases a tracking number is not available to certain areas, or require an additional upgrade to register one. To add an optional tracking number on a trading card for example, which shows as [default economy / general shipping] please navigate to Add Registered Tracking Option. This can be added to cart as an upgrade option. If this option is not purchased within 24 hours of the original order, dispatch with the default shipping option may be processed.
Regarding Customs: For (DDU fulfillment) which is the default export procedure to most countries, Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your respective country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchasing. Akiba Junky will always send items with the true purchased value and with accurate detailed descriptions of included items. The shipment will be marked as commercially sold goods for individual customer usage.
Packages and products ordered from Japan are the importer's responsibility. They take full liability for importing products into their country. Confiscated packages caused by importing products which are illegal in your country or unclaimed/refused/ duty unpaid packages are the sole responsibility of the importer and any fees / penalties associated are to be handled completely by the importer.. The customer/importer is responsible for receiving the ordered package, which means researching on your country's import laws and regularly checking your package's tracking and contacting your local post office should there be any delivery problems.
International Duties & Taxes Notice for (DDP Fulfillment) - To ensure a smooth delivery with no hidden delivery fees at your door, international orders to certain regions (ie: US and EU) are shipped via Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) channels for orders under $500usd total. For higher-value shipments (typically exceeding $100 USD), final localized import taxes and specific carrier compliance surcharges are evaluated dynamically at the time of processing. If the actual DDP expenses required by destination customs exceed the flat shipping rate collected at checkout, we reserve the right to securely invoice you for the remaining balance. Your order will be safely held and dispatched immediately once the final customs balance is settled. Orders over $500usd or certain regions may not be eligible for DDP and in that case the order will be shipped via DDU.
Value Declaration: The gross total of purchases will be registered on the export label in accordance with international law. Additionally a commercial invoice will be provided for customs screening in the destination country.
